Leong’s Legend

Leong’s Legend in China Town serves mainly Taiwainese food alongside Dim Sum dishes. The meat here is not halal. However there are plenty of seafood options. The interior is reminiscent of an old teahouse with dark wood panelling and simple understated wooden seating.

Shown below is the Prawn Dumplings and Fillet Seabass Cheong Fun. Both were exceptionally good. The Cheong Fun had bold flavours which combined with the soy sauce was mind blowing.

The fried dough bread were crispy on the outside and fluffy and light in the centre.

Both noodle dishes shown below were average. The were no identifiable flavours coming through and no addition of soy sauce helped. Their noodle and broth based dishes were average in comparison to their Dim Dum menu.

We have dined here several times and find the lunch menu to offer more variety for vegetarian and seafood options. Worth visiting if you are looking for good value for money Dim Sum.
